This wonderful Konak was constructed more than 100 years ago during the 19th century when the villages of Beylerbeyi and Cengelköy were still a quiet place outside of Stamboul. 

In 2004-2007 the building was reconstructed under the supervision of the local authorities for buildings along the Bosphorus.

The current owner bought the Konak in 2007 and deeply renovated it at a high standard and earthquake resistant. He lived with his family for several years in the house before leaving back to Germany.
